Who we are

This policy describes how Parseris AI ("we") processes personal data when you use our website and services.

Data we process

  • Account data: When you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) processes identifiers such as your email address to operate your session and account.
  • Billing data: When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) processes payment and billing details needed to charge subscriptions, calculate tax where applicable, and provide receipts.
  • Usage and quota signals: We may store a salted hash of your IP address for abuse prevention and rate limiting, and maintain aggregated usage counters (for example daily conversion counts) to enforce plan limits.
  • Files you upload: Files are processed to deliver the conversion/extraction you request. We do not intend to retain uploaded file contents as a personal data archive after processing completes; typical processing is transient for service delivery.
  • AI processing: Where features use AI models, relevant content may be processed by our AI subprocessors (for example OpenAI) strictly as needed to provide the service.

Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data to provide the service, authenticate users, enforce fair usage, bill subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, and secure our systems. Depending on your location, processing may be based on contract necessity, legitimate interests balanced against your rights, or consent where required.

Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including billing, dispute resolution, security logs, and legal requirements. Subscription metadata may be retained consistent with Stripe's records and our operational needs.

Sharing

We use service providers to operate the product (including authentication, payments, hosting, and AI inference). These providers process data under contracts and instructions appropriate to their role.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can exercise many account-related requests through your authentication provider or billing portal; contact us for other requests.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Contact

For privacy requests, contact us through the channels listed on our website. You may also contact Clerk or Stripe directly for account or payment data they control.
